Positions Held Started the political career as a Student leader and got elected as the General Secretary of Student’s Union in Gulbarga and also organised the employees union in Gulbarga District.

Organized the Employees Union of MSK Mills and fought for their rights.

  • 1973 - Appointed Chairman of the Municipal Finances Enquiry Committee which went into the question of revitalizing the economy of Municipal and Civic Bodies in the State.

  • 1976 - Minister of State for Primary and Secondary Education.
  • 1978 - Elected for the 2nd term as MLA from Gurmitkal Assembly Constituency.
